Step By Step

Step 1:


Gather the supplies that you will need to make your card. Don't forget your punches, they make this technique easier to use!






Step 2:


Stamp the main image in any color ink you will be using. (If you will be using Watercoloring Techniques to color your spot light image later, please use either Black Stazon or Basic Black Classic Ink.)




Step 3:


Stamp the part of the image that you want to highlight on another piece of cardstock.






Step 4:

Punch out the part of the image that you want to showcase.

Step 5:

Here's the fun part, color the punched out image.

Step 6:

Adhere the the punched out image to another larger piece of cardstock. Punch out so that the colored image has a colored border around it.

Step 7:

Line up the layered punch out over the main image and adhere. Finish the rest of your card with layers of cardstock, ribbon, and other embellishments.
